Blooms, Butterflies, and Pearls Recovery Housing is a result of the first mission of A Better Place LLC.  This program was birthed in July 2008 and it serves women in the midst of transformation.  The goal is for each lady to exit with the skills to be a law-abiding, self-sufficient citizen of the community. The Bloom House is for women with one child under the age of 5 and women in the process of re-gaining custody of a child. The Butterfly House is for single women. The Pearl House is slated to open by June 2009 in Petersburg VA.
